Al Nafourah, Le Meridien Hotel KL
Had office lunch today at a mid-eastern place in Le Meridien hotel. Interior decorations make the whole ambience really fascinating. Although i was rushing through lunch as i had lots to do, it was an enjoyable meal as the food was really good. We all had the simplest lunch set meal as there was an after lunch surprise activity for all of us. As usual, i'll let the photos do the talking. Hehe...
The name of the restaurant as printed on the menu
Left: Assorted bread, Right: Cream tomato soup
Left: Grilled chicken and curry puff, Right: Tiramisu cupcake and latte drink
For starters, we had assorted breads with creamy butter. Then we were served the tomato soup. I tasted the first mouthful and slurped it all up. It was really good. Two thumbs up. The best concoction of creaminess and tomato without the sourness. It was pure bliss! For main, we had the grilled chicken, which was very well marinated with the perfect blend of spices to produce a tantalizing aroma. Three slices of lean meat which is tender and healthy.
Then came the sinful indulgence that i'd die again and again for. It was tiramisu served in a mini chocolate cupcake with a light cold latte and marmalade biscotti. Dessert was simple and light. And that is good as it didn't leave us with the usual overstuffed and nauseous or giddy feeling of too much sugar. Although i still did feel rather stuffed from the meal as we had a rather heavy breakfast. :P
