It's been a wild month since we got back from UK end of last month. Busy with the operation, baking, babysitting and events. The UK holiday trip to attend KT (KW's bro) and Wendy's wedding was really wonderful. Haven't had the time to sort out the tonnes of photos we took but i've posted photos of the wedding in
Facebook. It was a rather perfect wedding i'd say for the lovely couple. Nice weather, nice food, nice venue and above all, delightful people.

Aside from the wedding, we did the usual touristy stuff in Lancaster, Lake District, London, Salisbury (Stonehenge) and Bath. Also, messed up KT and Wendy's home while we were in Lancaster but they were such great hosts. Burnt a huge hole in our pockets (infact i don't think there's any pockets left) with the traveling and spending. But i was really happy to be back in UK again after 15 years and to see the Lake Windermere, Stonehenge and Roman Baths! :)
However, aside from just holes in our pockets, i had a not so pleasant souvenier as well. There was an inflamed and infected cyst on the nape of my neck which was hurting me during the last few days in UK. Immediately went to the doctor's right after we landed back here. Doc prescribed some antibiotics and pain killers. Didn't work, needless to say. Went to see another doc and he sent me to the operation theatre to have it removed. And now it's all better. Phew!
Despite my restricted neck movements, i can't quite keep myself away from this bundle of joy called Baby Claire. She's really a wonderful and happy baby to look after. At 4 months, she's really inquisitive, playful and talkative. Not to mention fidgety and unpleasantly vocal too at times. However, we only had her for 2 weeks while HY's parents were away. They've sinced returned and resumed babysitting duties. Perfect timing i'd say as my parents then took off for a holiday to China. They've just returned a few days ago and passed the airport health check. :P

And throughout the operation, babysitting and parents being away time, i've also been busy baking to fulfill orders. Am thoroughly enjoying and loving it! Rather happy that my baking has improved somewhat. And am excited to explore new ideas and hopefully add them to
Tasty Delights' menu. Thank you everyone who has supported TD. We couldn't have made it this far without all of you. :)

Am off to watch Angels and Demons again with my family. Haven't had quality time with them yet since they got back from their trip. Have a good weekend everyone!
